Springtime Swimming

When the first really warm day of Spring arrives, your kids have one thing on their minds:  swimming.  7am, Amanda, your youngest, rushes to the bathroom so she can be the first in her suit, when she’s done, Nick heads in, then Tyler (the oldest, who is also the sleepiest).  After the mad dash to be first into their suit, it’s a rush to brush their teeth and get dressed.

You pack the pool bag downstairs.  Flip flops, check!  Towels, check!  Pool snacks, sunscreen, umbrella, check!

“Okay, kids!” You shout upstairs. “Time to go!”

You open the backdoor.  In a flurry of activity each of them races down the stairs and lights up as they look out the front door.  Outside they’re not packing into the car, but a brand new swimming pool!
